Phoenix Surge CIC was created in response to a clear and urgent need to support female survivors of Gender Based Violence and Domestic Abuse to gain economic stability. As a Community Interest Company, our mission is to partner with our service users on their individual journeys to attain economic stability. We are dedicated to providing vulnerable women with access to coaching, mentorship, skill development, and job search support before and throughout their work life cycle. Every initiative we deliver is designed to benefit the community, promote resilience, and support sustainable personal and social development. We work collaboratively and inclusively to ensure that the voices of those we serve are central to everything we do. Phoenix Surge CIC is more than an organisation, it is a movement for growth, renewal, and collective strength.
Our Support Network.
The Support Network is a collaborative programme comprising beneficiaries, mentors, coaches, and corporate representatives. Its objective is to facilitate participants' achievement of their goals by offering structured emotional support, as well as personal and professional guidance.

THE PHOENIX BRUNCH
On the 7th of March 2026, Phoenix Surge hosted The Phoenix Brunch at the Edgar Centre in Northampton, bringing together survivors of domestic abuse, alongside male and female allies, for a day of connection, learning and empowerment. Held in line with the International Women’s Day 2026 theme, “Give to Gain,” the event highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge, offering support and supporting survivors of Domestic Abuse to attain economic stability. Attendees took part in sessions on building support networks, understanding the different types of support survivors may need, and financial planning to support economic recovery, financial confidence and greater economic stability.
The brunch also included engaging information sessions and interactive games designed to increase awareness and understanding of domestic abuse, challenge misconceptions and encourage meaningful conversations. The event provided a safe and welcoming space for survivors and allies to connect, learn and share, reinforcing Phoenix Surge CIC’s commitment to supporting survivors on their journey towards safety, independence and empowerment.
THE PHOENIX FAYRE
On 1 August 2026, Phoenix Surge CIC hosted the Phoenix Fayre at Wootton Community Centre in Northampton, bringing together vendors, community members, supporters and survivors of domestic abuse for a day of community, enterprise, wellbeing and fun. The fayre provided a supportive platform for survivors to showcase and market their own products and services, alongside stalls offering clothing, food, pastries, salads, desserts, sweets, hair care and fitness services. Attendees also had the opportunity to take part in wellbeing activities and learn more about women’s health, promoting health, confidence and self-care.
The event was child-friendly, with games and fun activities for children, creating an enjoyable experience for families and the wider community. A raffle draw added to the excitement, with lucky winners taking home some amazing prizes. Most importantly, the Phoenix Fayre helped to strengthen the sense of community among survivors, creating opportunities to connect, support one another, celebrate talents and encourage economic empowerment. Phoenix Surge CIC would like to thank all the vendors, survivors, supporters, volunteers, families and community members who helped make the day a memorable celebration of resilience, wellbeing, enterprise and belonging.
